At the age of just six-teen Kiernan started studying cosmetology. Her passion for art was transformed into a great skill in the beauty industry. She uses her talents to enhance her clients appearances, providing an experience of self-care to cultivate their own self-love. She is on a mission to help people and create art at the same time, using hair color and extensions as her own unique medium.

Kiernan received a scholarship, by the merit of her work, from the organization Beauty Changes Lives. Her life was indeed changed when she was able to travel to Santa Monica, California to become an advanced student at Vidal Sassoon Academy. Her goal is to always to pay it forward, through using what she has learned to help others reach their full potential.

Kiernan aka @kikihairslayer, has spent almost ten years studying one-on-one with many of the greatest artists in her field. She has amassed numerous advanced certifications including: color specialist, and balayage artist. Kiernan is also a certified member of the Dream Catchers Hair “dream team” of hair extension experts.

Kiernan is the sole proprietor of Kikihairslayer LLC. She took it upon her self to face the monumental task of starting up her own small business during the pandemic. When you support this business, you are supporting the dreams of a self-made woman entrepreneur. Kiernan has lived in Saratoga Springs for all of her life, and aims to utilize this business as a tool to create a positive impact on the local community. Kiernan highly values the wellness of her clients, also having received the Barbicide COVID-19 certification in sanitation. Her private studio provides a safe-space for all humans.
